CHANGES (ACOUSTIC)

With poignant lyrics such as, “Doesn’t matter big or small, it comes around for us all, change is coming,” J4 captures the unique moments in life where our own childhood curiosity becomes adult wisdom.

With master engineer Joey O’Brien, this stripped down recording features J4 on acoustic guitar with a beauty that is showcased in the simplicity of the track and the warm sound of historic Columbia Studio A, a studio that has housed recordings by famous songwriters Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash

“The last few songs I have released have been large productions with so much energy and drive,” J4 explains. “With this song I wanted to do something different and new; I wanted a stripped down approach in the studio so the lyrics could shine through.”
